Job Description

New Directions are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Nursery Manager to lead and inspire a team of dedicated childcare professionals based in Fazakerley. As the Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring that high standards of care, safety, and educational quality are maintained. We are passionate about supporting both our children and staff, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Responsibilities of the role included but are not limited to:

• Have excellent communication skills.
• To be responsible for the development and daily management of Nursery provision and staff
• Be able to build strong relationships with students and staff.
• Be encouraging and supportive.
• Have a positive attitude towards teaching and aiding children development.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the student.
• To develop and implement effective Early Years curriculum plans and monitor outcomes taking responsibility for the learning and achievement of all pupils in the nursery ensuring equality of opportunity for all

Job Specification

• Have experience working with children, or adults, with additional needs
• Able to support children of all abilities.
• Have a positive and ambitious attitude to learning.
• 2 Minimum 2 years’ experience of a post with management / supervisory responsibilities
• Experience of working with a team of professionals regarding planning and assessments.
• Relevant Early Years curriculum training
