New Directions are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Physics Teacher to join our dynamic Science department and help inspire the next generation of scientists. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teacher or an early career teacher (ECT) to contribute to a supportive and forward-thinking team.

As a Physics Teacher you’ll be expected to:

  • Hold a PGCE and UK QTS
  • Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
  • Maintain discipline.
  • Lesson Planning and overseeing parents evenings
  • Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
  • A strong academic background Physics or related discipline
  • To deliver religious education lessons to groups of pupils from all abilities across ages 11 – 16 according to their educational needs and levels of ability.

The Successful Physics Teacher must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience Of Teaching Physics
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Able to provide Referees.
  • An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Passionate about teaching Physics
