New Directions are seeking an enthusiastic and committed PPA Cover Primary Teacher to join our dedicated team in Salford. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who enjoys variety, flexibility, loves supporting students’ learning, and thrives in a collaborative school environment.

Key Responsibilities of a PPA Cover Primary Teacher:

  • Deliver high-quality PPA cover across a range of year groups (EYFS to Key Stage 2)
  • Create engaging and stimulating lesson plans that adhere to the school’s curriculum and ethos
  • Provide effective and differentiated teaching to meet the needs of all learners
  • Ensure a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning
  • Manage classroom behaviour and support pupils in their social and emotional development
  • Liaise with staff, including teaching assistants and other teachers, to ensure continuity of learning
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school events as required
  • Compliant with all Education and Training Policies

Requirements of a PPA Cover Primary Teacher:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required
  • Proven experience teaching in a primary school setting
  • Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and effective teaching practices
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different year groups and teaching styles
  • A team player with a passion for inspiring children to achieve their best
  • Familiar with all Education and Training Policies
  • Local to Salford
