Exciting Opportunity for a Teacher in Foundation 2!

Are you a passionate and dedicated educator looking for a part-time teaching role at a school in Birkenhead? We are seeking a talented teacher to join a fantastic team on Mondays to Wednesdays to teach in Foundation 2 (F2) starting January 2025 until Easter 2025, with the possibility of extending till Summer 2025.

Start Date: January 2025
Days: Monday to Wednesday
Location: Birkenhead

As a Foundation 2 teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the early educational experiences of young learners, creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for their growth and development.

Requirements:
– Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
– Experience working with Foundation 2 curriculum
– Ability to create engaging and age-appropriate lesson plans
– Strong communication and collaboration skills
– Enthusiasm for early childhood education and a nurturing approach

An EYFS teacher works in day nurseries and also nursery or reception classes in infant or primary schools.

  • Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation;
  • Maintain discipline
  • Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
  • Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, and supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area;]
  • Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
  • Take part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
  • Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly in smaller schools and day-nurseries
