Job Description

New Directions are seeking a passionate and experienced Primary Teacher with a specialism in Science. If you are an enthusiastic individual looking to join a welcoming team and are available to start Easter 2025, we might have the role for you! This position entails teaching across Year 1 to Year 6, covering PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) classes two afternoons a week.

– Location: Wirral Based Primary School
– Working Hours: Part-Time (2 Afternoons a Week)
– Start Date: Easter 2025

Essential Requirements:
– Specialism in Science
– Qualified Primary Teacher

Key Responsibilities:
– Cover PPA classes across Year 1 to Year 6
– Deliver engaging Science lessons tailored to different age groups
– Collaborate with fellow teachers to ensure continuity in learning

  • Take part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
  • Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools
