I am currently recruiting on behalf of a SEMH school in Ellesmere Port, I’m looking for experienced Youth Workers, or anyone with experience working with challenging behaviour, or someone who has a degree in Education and Special Needs. They are looking for LSA’s to join their team to aid with behaviour management. The role will require you to work alongside a class teacher to support with learning and engagement, you may also be expected to work 1:1 with children across multiple year groups (KS2 to KS4).

This role is full time, commencing ASAP through until the Easter holidays, with the potential for a permanent contract for the right educator.

The ideal candidate will be able to:

  • Work 1:1 with children with SEN.
  • Be confident in responding to challenging behaviours
  • Work coherently with teachers in providing support for students.
  • Work effectively as part of a team within the classroom ensuring that all the children are looked after and learning from the taught content.
  • Have a passion for assisting students.
  • Promote and encourage independence and personal development.
  • Be enthusiastic and proactive in the classroom..
