Key Responsibilities:
– Provide tailored support and guidance to students with ACEs and trauma
– Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviours and create a safe and nurturing learning environment
– Collaborate with teachers and external professionals to develop individualised support plans for students
Requirements:
– Previous experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant, preferably with a focus on supporting children with ACEs and trauma
– Strong understanding of behaviour management techniques and de-escalation strategies
– Resilience, patience, and empathy when working with students facing complex emotional challenges
