SEND Teacher
West Derby

£31,650 – £49,084 Per Annum (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)

We are working on behalf of one of our SEND Schools based in Liverpool who are seeking a passionate, highly qualified and resilient Teacher, with a strong background in Teaching children with SEMH needs who also has a deep understanding of (SEND) special educational needs and is committed to making a positive impact. This role will include working within a alternative provision teaching English to KS3 and KS4.

As a SEND Teacher, you’ll be expected to:

  • To plan, implement and deliver tailored educational lessons to support the curriculum area of each student appropriately.
  • To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher and or form tutor.
  • To facilitate and encourage a positive learning experience, which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
  • To contribute to raising standards of student attainment and achievement.
  • To share and support the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for the personal and academic development of children and young people.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, counsellors, support staff and social workers to provide holistic support.
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs.

To apply for this SEND Teacher role you must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Knowledge of the Teaching in a SEND setting.
  • Able to provide Referees.
  • An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
