SEND Teacher West Derby Part-Time ASAP £31,650 – £49,084 Per Annum (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)
We are working on behalf of one of our SEND Schools based in Liverpool who are seeking a passionate, highly qualified and resilient Teacher, with a strong background in Teaching children with SEMH needs who also has a deep understanding of (SEND) special educational needs and is committed to making a positive impact. This role will include working within a alternative provision teaching English to KS3 and KS4.
As a SEND Teacher, you’ll be expected to:
To plan, implement and deliver tailored educational lessons to support the curriculum area of each student appropriately.
To monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher and or form tutor.
To facilitate and encourage a positive learning experience, which provides students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
To contribute to raising standards of student attainment and achievement.
To share and support the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for the personal and academic development of children and young people.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, counsellors, support staff and social workers to provide holistic support.
Adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs.
To apply for this SEND Teacher role you must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Knowledge of the Teaching in a SEND setting.
Able to provide Referees.
An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
Eligibility to work in the UK.
