Specialist SEND Teacher Medway Full-Time Feb 2025 Start Temp-to-Perm £120 – £150 Per day (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)
We are working on behalf of one of our SEND Schools in Medway, seeking a passionate, highly qualified, and resilient Teacher with a strong background in teaching children with SEMH needs. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and be committed to making a positive impact.
Both experienced Teachers and ECTs (Early Career Teachers) are welcome to apply.
As a Specialist SEND Teacher, you’ll be expected to:
Plan, implement, and deliver tailored educational lessons to support the curriculum area of each student appropriately.
Monitor and support the overall progress and development of students as a teacher and/or form tutor.
Facilitate and encourage a positive learning experience, providing students with the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.
Contribute to raising standards of student attainment and achievement.
Share and support the school’s responsibility to provide and monitor opportunities for the personal and academic development of children and young people.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including therapists, counsellors, support staff, and social workers, to provide holistic support.
Adapt teaching methods to suit individual needs.
To apply for this SEND Teacher role, you must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Knowledge of teaching in a SEND setting
The ability to provide referees
An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
Eligibility to work in the UK
