£31,650 – £49,084 Weekly Pay (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)

Our alternative provision school are looking for a SEND Teacher to join the team on a full time basis. This large, two-form entry primary school in Liverpool are on the lookout for an experienced, or newly qualified, SEMH Teacher. This school was also graded as ‘Good’ with outstanding features in their most recent Ofsted. Do you have experience working with children or vulnerable adults Or even had personal experience supporting SEND? If this is the role for you please apply below! As a SEMH Teacher you will:

  • Supervise pupils with SEND, ensuring their safety and ability to access learning activities and understand the information presented.
  • Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
  • Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation.
  • Look after children’s physical, social and emotional welfare.
  • Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupil’s development.
  • Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area.
  • Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum.
  • Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools.

To apply the candidate must have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Able to provide Referees.
  • An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Have passion and dedication for SEND
