SMEH / Humantities Teacher Liverpool Full Time ASAP £31,650 – £49,084 Weekly Pay (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated SEMH Teacher (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) with a focus on Humanities to join our team. In this role, you will teach students who have social, emotional, and mental health needs, delivering engaging and differentiated Humanities lessons while providing the support and guidance they need to succeed. You will work in a nurturing and inclusive environment, helping students build resilience, manage their emotions, and develop the skills they need to excel academically and personally.
As a SEMH Teacher you will:
Supervise pupils with SEND, ensuring their safety and ability to access learning activities and understand the information presented.
Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Humanities lessons (e.g., History, Geography, RE) that are engaging, differentiated, and accessible to students with SEMH needs.
Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation.
Look after children’s physical, social and emotional welfare.
Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupil’s development.
Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area.
To apply the candidate must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Knowledge of the National Curriculum
Able to provide Referees.
An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
Eligibility to work in the UK.
Have passion and dedication for SEND
Experience teaching Humanities at [Key Stage 3/4/5] level.
