New Directions are seeking a passionate and dynamic Spanish Teacher to join our modern languages department in a school based in Knowsley. The ideal candidate will inspire students to develop a love for the Spanish language and culture, while delivering engaging and effective lessons in line with the curriculum. Evidence of achieving successful outcomes at KS3 and KS4 is desirable and ECTs will be considered for the post.
As a Spanish Teacher you’ll be expected to:
Hold a PGCE and UK QTS
Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
Maintain discipline.
Lesson Planning and overseeing parents evenings
Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
Have a passion for teaching secondary Spanish
To deliver History to groups of pupils from all abilities across ages 11 – 18 according to their educational needs and levels of ability.
The Successful Science Teacher must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience Of Teaching Spanish
Knowledge of the National Curriculum
Able to provide Referees.
An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
Eligibility to work in the UK.
Fluency in Spanish and strong proficiency in English.
