Location: Longsight, Manchester

Salary: £600-1200 per week (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)

Job Overview

We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Food Technology to join one of our esteemed partner secondary schools in Longsight, Manchester. This role is start in January on a long term and full time basis. We expect the role to go permanent for the right candidate.

As a Teacher of Food Technology teacher key responsibilities will include:

  • Dynamic Lesson Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Food technology lessons that cater to a range of abilities
  • Student Assessment: Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve their skills and understanding.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that fosters respect and enthusiasm for physical education.

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential.
  • Experience: Proven experience in teaching at secondary level is preferred, though highly motivated newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply.
  • Skills: Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
