Location: Stockport

Salary: £600-1200 per week (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)

Job Overview

We are excited to announce a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher of Physical Education (PE) to join one of our esteemed partner secondary schools in Stockport. This role is start ASAP on a long term basis. We expect the role to go permanent for the right candidate.

As a Teacher of PE key responsibilities will include:

• Dynamic Lesson Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging PE lessons that cater to a range of abilities and encourage all students to participate actively.
• Curriculum Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive PE curriculum that promotes physical fitness, teamwork, and a healthy lifestyle.
• Student Assessment: Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them improve their skills and understanding.
• Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment that fosters respect and enthusiasm for physical education.
• Extracurricular Activities: Lead and support a variety of extracurricular sports and fitness activities, including after-school clubs, teams, and competitions.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Essential.
• Experience: Proven experience in teaching PE at secondary level is preferred, though highly motivated newly qualified teachers are also encouraged to apply.
• Skills: Strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, along with a passion for sports.
