About the Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting both students and teaching staff. You’ll work in dynamic and inclusive school environments, contributing to the academic and personal development of pupils through engaging and supportive classroom experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with teachers to facilitate lessons and deliver targeted learning support.
Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to help meet individual student needs.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere conducive to learning.
Support children with Special Educational Needs (SEND), ensuring equal access to the curriculum.
Prepare and organise classroom materials and learning resources.
Monitor student progress and share insights with teaching staff to inform planning.
What We’re Looking For:
A genuine interest in supporting children’s learning and development.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Adaptability and a proactive approach to working across different age groups and subjects.
Previous school-based experience is welcomed but not essential.
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.
