We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate full-time Teaching Assistant to join a dedicated team at a primary school in Wallasey. This role involves providing one-to-one support to a student in their F2 class, focusing on creating a positive learning experience while addressing challenging behaviour effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
– Work closely with the class teacher to support the educational and emotional needs of a child in F2, particularly in managing challenging behaviour.
– Implement strategies to encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning activities.
– Assist in the delivery of tailored activities that promote development in key areas such as literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
– Foster a nurturing and supportive environment that helps the child flourish both academically and socially.
– Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding the child’s progress and well-being.
Qualifications and Requirements:
– Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experience working with children in a primary school setting.
– Proven experience in managing and supporting children with challenging behaviour.
– Strong communication skills and the ability to build trusting relationships with students, staff, and parents.
– Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting individual learning needs.
