Position: Temporary Teaching Assistant (One-to-One)
Location: Wirral
Duration: 2 Weeks (Full-Time)
Start Date: After Easter
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a team at a primary school on the Wirral for a temporary position in their KS2 department. This role will involve providing one-to-one support to a student, fully engaging them in their learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide tailored one-to-one support to a designated student in KS2, fostering their academic and personal development.
– Assist the class teacher in delivering lessons and creating an inclusive, supportive environment.
– Implement individualised learning strategies to help the student achieve their educational goals.
– Monitor and record the student’s progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as needed.
– Promote positive behaviour and engagement in classroom activities.
Qualifications and Requirements:
– Experience working with children, preferably in a primary school setting.
– Strong understanding of teaching methodologies and child development, particularly in KS2.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
– A patient, adaptable, and nurturing approach to supporting children’s learning.
– A relevant qualification in education or childcare would be desirable but not essential.
