Year Group: Year 3/4 (One-to-One Support)

Are you a dedicated and compassionate Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding opportunity? A primary school in Ellesmere Port is seeking an experienced TA to provide one-to-one support for a student in Year 3/4 who displays challenging behaviours.

Key Responsibilities:
– Provide personalised support to a student with challenging behaviours to help them engage with their learning.
– Assist in implementing tailored learning strategies and interventions.
– Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages the student’s social and emotional development.
– Work closely with the class teacher to monitor progress and share feedback.
– Maintain clear communication with parents, staff, and external professionals as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:
– Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
– Experience working with children, particularly those with challenging behaviours.
– Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective teaching practices.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
– Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.

• Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
• Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
• Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills
