A dynamic primary school in Wallasey is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time Teaching Assistant to support their Year 6 class. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with students as they prepare for their SATs, providing booster sessions and tailored support to help them excel.
Key Responsibilities:
– Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons focused on SATs preparation and curriculum content.
– Provide targeted support during booster sessions to help improve student understanding and confidence.
– Work one-on-one and in small groups with students to reinforce learning and provide additional assistance.
– Help create a positive and motivating classroom environment that encourages student participation and growth.
– Collaborate with teachers to monitor student progress and adapt support strategies as needed.
Qualifications and Requirements:
– Experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in a primary school setting.
– Strong knowledge of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students and staff.
– A proactive and enthusiastic approach to supporting children’s learning.
– Patience, empathy, and a passion for helping students succeed.
