Position: Teaching Assistant (Year 6)
Location: Wallasey
Hours: Full-time, Ongoing Basis
Start Date: January 2025
A primary school in Wallasey is seeking a dedicated and supportive Teaching Assistant to support in their Year 6 class on a full-time basis starting in January 2025, on an ongoing basis.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide general classroom support to the Year 6 teacher
– Assist with group work activities and provide one-to-one support to students as needed
– Help with the planning and implementation of lessons and activities
– Support the social and academic development of Year 6 pupils
– Create a positive and engaging learning environment for all students
Requirements:
– Experience working in a school setting, preferably with Year 6 students
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other staff members
– Patient, organised, and adaptable
– A passion for supporting children’s learning and well-being
