Trainee Cover Supervisor
Liverpool
Full Time and AD HOC
£450 -£500 Per Week (PAYE – No Umbrella Company)

New Directions are on the lookout for motivated and passionate individuals looking to make a start in their education career, supporting schools across the Merseyside area. As this is an unqualified position we are happy to accept applicants with transferable skills from positions such as; coaching, youth work or support work with young adults. We will be hosting a tailored Cover Supervisor and Behaviour Management course to support you in this role. Attendance of this course will be mandatory and will be held on the 18^th February.

As a Cover Supervisor you will:

• Be solely responsible for a classroom of up to 30 students.
• Ensuring that the students are on task, completing the work that has been set for them
• You are not expected to teach, however you are expected to provide guidance and support to the students
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the student.
• Be Passionate about children’s education.

As a Cover Supervisor you must have:

• Transferable skills
• Attend a mandatory training course
• Have excellent communication skills
• Be able to build strong relationships with students and staff.
• Be encouraging and supportive
• Be able to remain calm under pressure and able to problem solve
• Have a positive attitude towards teaching and aiding students development
