Working with New Directions has been an honor. Tom is very personal and professional, and did his best to find me a placement for every day I had availability. If I ever had any questions, he would respond quickly with an answer. Very knowledgeable, and clearly loves what he does.

As I’m originally from the USA, I worked as a Cover Supervisor to learn more about the Welsh school structure before deciding to pursue a PGCE. Thanks to my experience, I can now go into my PGCE course, starting this fall, with confidence and a solid understanding of school life in Wales. I am grateful for all I have learned in my time with New Directions.

Throughout the COVID-19 situation, she has kept me up to date with all the information that she has had. If she was unable to answer queries, she has been open and honest about it. Not giving false hope to an already difficult situation. I have been furloughed for the duration of the COVID-19 period and she has been extremely helpful in providing me with information about it.

I have also been working on long term, in the same school. Chloe has made contact on a fortnightly basis to touch base and confirm that all is well.

She has a friendly manner and always asks about my family. This has secured a very comfortable and easy working relationship.

She has always tried to place me within my preferred age range when putting me on supply.

My highlight of working with New Directions Education is the experience of working in different settings and being asked to return for further supply cover.
