About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Support Worker to join our dynamic team, providing high-quality care and support to individuals with learning disabilities, autism, and challenging behaviours. Using PBM techniques, you will play a crucial role in helping individuals develop their skills, build independence, and improve their overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide person-centred support tailored to individual needs.
Implement PBM strategies to effectively manage challenging behaviours.
Assist with daily living tasks, including personal care and community engagement.
Encourage independence and support individuals in achieving their goals.
Maintain accurate records and reports in line with regulatory requirements.
Work collaboratively with families, healthcare professionals, and other team members.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Support Worker, particularly in PBM.
PBM training and certification (or willingness to complete training).
A caring, patient, and empathetic approach.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
A valid driving licence (preferred but not essential).
