New Directions have been running a Santa’s Grotto experience since 2022 in an effort to give back to the local community during a period which can be difficult to many.
2022 – Our First Year. We welcomed 178 children in our first year of opening Santa’s Grotto.
2023 – Our Second Year. We increased the number of children we welcomed by over 300% to 582 children.
2024 – Our Third Year. This year we are hoping to increase the number of visitors to Santa’s Grotto and spread Christmas cheer throughout an even wider community in both Abertillery and Cardiff.
To support families during this time, New Directions will be holding Grotto visits where children can meet Santa and his Elves, and receive a special gift straight from the North Pole! Financially, Christmas can be a tough time for many families, and this has only grown more difficult during the recent cost of living and energy crisis”
