New Directions Pharmacy has been securing supply contracts for pharmacists, locums, dispensers and technicians since 2003. Our business ensures that staff are placed within vacancies that suit their skill sets and personal requirements on a daily basis.
We cover the entire UK – England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, so you can be assured that we will match you to a job in a suitable location. Our Account Managers all cover specific geographical areas, so you can build a strong relationship with them to ensure on going work.
New Directions Pharmacy offers an innovative service to all registered locum contractors; our website permits all candidates to apply online for dates / locations they feel are acceptable to them. All you have to do is enter the dates you are available and then select the areas you are interested in. Unlike other agencies we always endeavour to match the wishes of our clients to the desires of our candidates.
If the dates and locations we have showing as available do not match your requirements you can always submit your availability and your designated bookings consultant will work on your exact needs.
We will always confirm each booking in writing within three hours of booking. The confirmation you receive will state:
- Full address and opening hours of the store
- Rate of pay we have negotiated on your behalf
- Mileage allowance
- Details of the stores i.e. how many items dispensed each day, support staff, computer systems used and general requirements of the client (this information can be confirmed by your Consultant prior to your acceptance of a booking)
- Accommodation allowance and details of hotel booked (where applicable)
The client will also receive a mirror copy of the confirmation so all aspects of the booking are covered.
