This week is National Apprenticeship Week 2013. This is the sixth time the event has taken place to celebrate the achievements of both Apprentices and their employers. New Directions associate Derek Tune has launched an innovative communication technique to help support victims of strokes and other debilitating illnesses. Single handed communication is a form of sign language that has been developed for those with restricted movement. New Directions Social Care colleagues Liam Healan and Louise Davies completed the Cheltenham Triathlon this month.
